Yan Wang

Growing up in Fushun, a city in northeastern China, Yan lived in close proximity to the mountains and they provided the backdrop to favorite childhood activities: building dams along the creek in the summer, skiing and sledding in the winter, picking wild fruits, catching insects and flying kites. Her favorite travel destination is China’s West Lake, where the picturesque scenery and fragrant smells of blooming osmanthus are vivid memories to this day.
