Kaylin Slaughter

Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Kaylin remembers her love of climbing trees growing up with her three siblings. Each would climb the biggest tree in their front yard and claim their own branch, much like picking a preferred seat at the dining table. In 2021, at the National ASLA Conference in Nashville, she won a free trip to Europe and was able to visit Vienna, Budapest, Brno, and Prague. She particularly enjoyed Budapest and Prague for the culture, great food, gorgeous architecture, and world class museums.
