Lexi Kuehnel

After beginning her career as a TBG intern in the firm’s Dallas office, Lexi joined the Austin studio as a landscape designer, where she is passionate about creating places that connect people to nature and strengthen communities. Inspired by native landscapes, she incorporates elements such as pollinator gardens, interpretive art, and regionally appropriate planting to foster a strong sense of place. With experience designing high-density urban projects, Lexi is committed to sustainable solutions that prioritize native plantings, recycled materials, and resilient landscapes. She believes access to green space is essential to healthy, connected communities and approaches every project with curiosity, creativity, viewing every constraint as an opportunity for thoughtful design.
