Drew Mengwasser

The Managing Principal of TBG’s Houston office, Drew is a talented designer who excels at delivering creative design solutions as well as mentoring younger staff in their design efforts. He provides visionary leadership and continues to practice daily as an accomplished design professional. Drew shapes and creates environments rooted in a strong vision that is inspired by its users, clients and site context. He also serves on TBG’s Board of Directors, which provides strategic guidance for all aspects of the firm and its practice.

As a child in Norwalk, Connecticut, Drew could be spotted having fun building dams in the creek that passed through his front yard. Long before becoming a designer and landscape architect, he once worked in a rope factory.
