April Weems

April hails from Upland, California, a town nestled at the foot of the San Gabriel Mountains. Growing up her memories revolve around the stunning mountain views and the easy access to outdoor activities. The fact that it rarely snowed below 2,000 feet allowed her to relish the sight of snow-capped peaks without the hassles of dealing with snow in everyday life. April was a national champion of freestyle skateboarding during her youth, but her greatest personal achievement was serving as a Corporal in the United States Marine Corps during Desert Storm.
