Ross DeVault

Ross lived throughout the U.S. growing up but considers Creede, Colorado to be home and the center of his family’s universe. One of his favorite memories there was hooking a rainbow trout for the first time with an old fly rod and his dad watching proudly a hundred yards upstream. Similar to how that connection to nature was highly impactful and memorable in his life, he explores how the built environment can promote mental and physical health through connections to nature in his professional practice and academic research.

Ross’ personal and professional passions have also collided in his longstanding desire to connect people to nature and people to people. As TBG’s business development lead for North Texas, he gets the unique opportunity to play the role of connector between organization, people, ideas, projects and places. Ross believes deeply in the value of building strategic relationships and friendships by being authentic, nurturing trust and constantly seeking out ways to deliver value. He remains active in ULI, TREC and NRPA and you’ll likely find him out hiking with his pup Nilla in the Great Trinity Forest or Oak Cliff Nature preserve on any given weekend in Dallas.
