Matt Klein

A Principal in TBG’s Houston office, Matt has over 20 years’ professional experience that has included working on projects throughout the United States and internationally. His diverse project experience informs a unique ability to deliver creative and contextual design solutions at all scales. He finds public realm enhancements to be particularly rewarding and prefers a clean design aesthetic that responds to the site’s natural context. Matt is a Michigan native and Michigan State University alumnus.

Matt got a go-kart when he was 5 and would ride around for hours during the summer in his hometown West Bloomfield, Michigan. During his time at Michigan State, he drove a snow plow for several winters and, one summer, he worked as a porter at the Jeff Gordon Chevrolet dealership in Wilmington, North Carolina.
