The Urban Biodiversity Working Group will share example approaches for using ecosystem references to guide planting palettes in urban environments, followed by open discussion on the opportunities, trade-offs, and practical applications for your practice.

This session combines live coaching, presence frameworks, and simple on-the-spot speaking structures to help landscape architects, especially introverted or anxious speakers, build confidence. Featuring insights from TBG’s Idea Lab on how communication skills can strengthen culture and expand leadership across firms.

Actions Behind the Actions: Getting to Work on LA 2040

ASLA Climate and Biodiversity Action Committee leaders share lessons they’ve learned as they get to work on LA 2040 targets within their own organizations.
