Elaine Kearney Appointed President of Landscape Architecture Foundation

TBG Partners is proud to celebrate Elaine Kearney, FASLA, as she begins her term as President of the Landscape Architecture Foundation’s Board of Directors.

Its research, scholarships, and leadership programs strengthen the profession and help people and planet thrive together by design.

Deepened Commitment

TBG Partners has a long history of making contributions to LAF’s mission, as well as participating in programs such as the Case Study Investigation (CSI), hosting summer interns, and recently led a workshop on Soil Health at the Future Now Summit.

Following in TBG president Jim Mansky’s footsteps, Elaine was elected to the LAF Board in 2019. She served as Vice President of Development from 2022 through 2025, where she helped to advance fundraising for the organization’s research, leadership, and scholarship programs. Her work included support for LAF Ignite, a multi-year scholarship, internship, and mentorship program for BIPOC landscape architecture students.

Leadership at TBG

At TBG, Elaine serves on the firm’s Board of Directors and leads the San Antonio office as Managing Principal. Her appointment as LAF Board President recognizes the leadership, generosity, and vision she brings to the profession.
