What was once a stop on the interurban railway system and surface parking has been transformed into the reimagined Mayor Vera Calvin Plaza in Burleson, Texas. The town, which used to serve as a key node of a regional trolley car system now has a public plaza that encourages its people to come together while also honoring Burleson’s heritage.

The design integrates historic elements through featuring a train depot and two trolley cars from the early 20th century. Community members can relax on the plaza’s grand lawn, rest beneath sparkling stringed lights, and admire their beautiful town.
