Manuel Gomez

Manuel is a landscape designer who brings a thoughtful, problem-solving approach to his work, with a focus on ecological restoration and community-centered design. He is known for breaking down complex challenges into manageable steps and embracing the process of figuring out what he doesn’t yet know, quickly adapting and learning new tools to move projects forward. Manuel views landscape architecture as both a cultural and ecological responsibility, an approach shaped by summers spent in his parents’ rural village in Central Mexico, where he developed a deep appreciation for the lush landscapes of the rainy season and a strong sense of community. These experiences continue to inform his passion for advocating for underserved populations, as well as his focus on creating resilient spaces that honor cultural history while incorporating native planting and low-impact strategies that support local ecosystems and long-term performance.
