nicole warns featured in landscape architecture magazine

TBG Partners Principal and Director of Design Nicole Warns has been featured in this month’s Landscape Architecture Magazine discussing why midcareer women leave design firms. Nicole is one of many women highlighting her experience in the design field for LAM’s May edition, sharing, “[Women] have been socialized that we have to overperform; we have to be hyperqualified and hyperattentive and hyperdetailed.”

Nicole discusses her current initiative within TBG that is a sponsorship program to help alleviate some of these challenges with a mentor-mentee relationship. She says firms being clear about growth pathways for midcareer employees and support at the leadership level are mandatory for retainment.
