Allyson Caruso

Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Allyson grew up working at a neighbor’s alpaca farm alongside her sister. She appreciated having her sister with her, especially when the alpacas acted up. While studying abroad in Tanzania, Africa, Allyson found it to be her favorite place – exploring a culture so different from the one she grew up in. As a world champion baton twirler, Allyson can twirl three flaming batons all at once.
