Jingxi grew up in Chongqing, China – a city known for its hotpot dish, which happens to be one of her favorite foods. A core memory from her childhood is when she spent a summer day catching tadpoles with her dad by the Jialing river. During the excursion, she fell into one of the ponds next to the river and had to go home soaking wet with tadpoles in hand.
