Rainie Madsen

Within the Washington metropolitan area is Urbana, Maryland—Rainie’s hometown. She grew up close to the Chesapeake & Ohio Canal and would go on runs on its trail as well as hike with her family. Rainie lived in Italy for two months during a study abroad in college, and although it was cut short, she says the experience was unforgettable.
