A Florida-based entertainment and restaurant venue operator has landed in Allen with plans for its first North Texas location.

The Hub, which has operated successful projects in Florida since 2015, will build an almost 2.7-acre entertainment center — also called The Hub — in the first phase of the 135-acre mixed-use development called The Farm.

Developer JaRyCo disclosed plans in July for the project on State Highway 121 on the north side of Allen.
