Shimin grew up in Changsha, China, an ancient city with a rich history of more than 3000 years. The city’s hot and humid climate created a love for spicy cuisine among its inhabitants, including Shimin, who loves spicy food and has a strong tolerance for it. She loves exploring museums and trying local restaurants and is mom to a long-haired dachshund and parrot.
