Some of Ivy’s fondest memories are of her childhood home near Tabriz, Iran where she was surrounded by beautiful gardens and mountains. Not wanting to leave their garden, Ivy would climb into the berry trees and hide while picking and enjoying fresh berries. When she wasn’t in the garden, she was climbing the small mountain near her home picking herbs on the way up to make tea when she reached the top. Ivy also recalls learning the English alphabet by writing the letters in the mud with a stick.
