Haley Powell

The result of being an army brat, Haley moved around often and has lived in many different places. Of those, she says South Korea or Japan would have to take the cake. Haley stumbled upon landscape architecture through an interest in permaculture—a system considered to be sustainable agriculture’s “underground cousin.” Haley has worked in visitor services at the Oklahoma City Zoo, and says it was incredible to see what people visiting the zoo would try to get away with!
