Bryan grew up in small-town Marion, Kansas, and after heavy snows he would cruise the pasture at breakneck speeds on an innertube tied to his Dad’s old Ford tractor. The crashes were spectacular — unlike the on-site veterinary procedures he recalls from his time as a teenage ranch hand.
