A TBG Principal and Practice Director, Brent plays an integral role in shaping and refining TBG’s design practice in addition to providing creative guidance for all TBG offices. A licensed architect, Brent has more than 30 years’ professional experience that encompasses architecture, planning and landscape architecture, which provides tremendous insight into a holistic placemaking approach. He frequently participates in TBG’s charrette process, as his architectural background and expertise with visualization tools allow for a sophisticated articulation of design concepts in an efficient manner.
Brent spent most childhood summers playing and working at his grandparents’ farm in the Texas panhandle. Years later, he worked as an airbrush artist in a t-shirt shop for two years, helping pay for a car and college. He also wrote and recorded two albums with his band Warehouse Kings while living in Austin.
