Beth was born in West Chester, Ohio, just outside Cincinnati, where she spent many days swimming and riding her bike. A former elementary school music teacher and lifelong music lover, Beth plays the flute and has a wide-ranging taste in music—with a particular love for post-hardcore bands. One of her greatest accomplishments is writing her master’s thesis, Beyond the Visual: The Impacts of Urban Soundscapes on Landscape Design and User Experience, where she examined how visual stimuli affects an individual’s perception of soundscapes.
