Daymark Living is a groundbreaking new community committed to helping adults with intellectual and developmental delays reach their fullest potential.

Excerpt from the story:

Elizabeth Levkulich hadn’t expected her master’s thesis to follow her to Texas. But shortly after graduating from Kansas State University with an MLA and landing a job at TBG Partners in Dallas, she got a call from John Poston. Poston, a real estate investor turned school administrator, had come across her thesis, “A City for Marc: An Inclusive Urban Design Approach to Planning for Adults with Autism,” in which Levkulich developed a tool kit that could be used by designers, urban planners, and city officials. The research had been inspired by Levkulich’s younger brother, Marc, who has autism.
