TBG appoints Elaine Kearney to Board of Directors

It is our sincere pleasure to announce the appointment of Elaine Kearney to TBG’s Board of Directors.

Elaine joined TBG Partners in 2015 and leads our San Antonio office as Managing Principal, guiding her team through a variety of design projects in addition to being passionately engaged with local and industry-focused organizations. Elaine demonstrates a daily commitment to TBG’s core values of inclusivity, authenticity, and inquisitiveness – and will undoubtedly continue paving the way for women in the landscape architecture profession.

A few words from Elaine on what this means to her:

“I am incredibly excited and honored to have joined TBG’s Board of Directors and for the opportunity to learn alongside our most respected and seasoned leadership. Over the past several years, I’ve grown as a practitioner with the chance to run a small office, serve as a co-lead of TBG’s DEI task force, and as our representative on the national Landscape Architecture Foundation (LAF) board.

As a member of TBG’s board, I look forward to contributing strategic thinking, striving for more transparency in our operations, and increasing the diversity of perspectives found at the highest levels of our leadership. Serving as a role model and a voice for underrepresented voices in landscape architecture is especially meaningful to me. As the first woman elected to TBG’s board, I couldn’t be prouder that this public announcement comes in March, on the heels of International Women’s Day! This is a highpoint of my career thus far, but one which I couldn’t have achieved without a multitude of others lifting me up. So, a big shot of gratitude to the wonderful teachers, mentors, friends, clients and colleagues who have paved the way!
